a little more…
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications & Business from Texas A&M University and numerous certificates in the holistic wellness realm. After college, I worked in the art industry for 4 years before moving into a corporate job I loathed. As a healthier means to tackle my unhappiness at that job I got into yoga and clean eating (and California living of course!). Following that I went to work at a startup that fed my drive but drained my spirit…and my adrenals.
Eventually I was laid off from the startup– A blessing in disguise. Thank you, Universe! After that, I started down a rabbit hole of studying holistic nutrition and alternative medicine. While living in Hong Kong for a year, what started as acute symptoms of eczema, anxiety and digestive distress became full blown chronic issues that left me depressed, unwell and desperate to heal. Like many, I’ve done all the diets, spoke to healing psychics, tried numerous alternative modalities, saw doctors, acupuncturists, nutritionists, and incessantly explored wellness books and summits.
I went on to study deeper and received certifications in the areas that were most effective for me. This also led me to both my herbal and nutrition practice, and my apothecary line, Kāliks Collective.

my roots and my now…
I am originally a southern girl from Texas. A scrappy girl who grew up with chickens and lots of land, I love the outdoors and have become quite plant obsessed thanks to my sweet parents. I am very much a home body who adores good food, family, friends and music. Having lived in SF for 13 years now, I’ve totally embraced the beauty of California coastal (and urban) living. Traveling and experiencing other cultures feeds my soul, and I have a great appreciation…let’s be honest– an obsession for art, ceramics, textiles and design.
Now I live in SF with my husband and two beautiful step-daughters where we often indulge in good food (notice the food theme), movies, good books and hiking.
what clients say
I’ve worked on a number of health topics with Allison and am continually amazed at the effectiveness the approach she takes, which harnesses the power of nutrition, herbal remedies, and mindfulness practices. I’ve worked with Allison on brain chemistry, immune support, back pain, hormone balancing, just to name a few. It’s amazing to support your best health with a natural approach because it feels very sustainable, and my health keeps getting better and better. Allison is a magical healer! But as she would say: “you are your own magic healer.” Her work enables our own bodies to do the healing which they are perfectly suited to do especially if supported with natural remedies. – A.
