1. Cypress Oil: for de-stressing

Known for it’s ability to lower blood pressure, Cypress oil is a truly healing oil! Specifically, the phytonicides found in the oil have been proven to have powerful health benefits. We first heard about this amazing oil in Florence Williams’ book, “The Nature Fix: Why Nature Makes Us Healthier, Happier, and More Creative.” Read more about that book here. In “The Nature Fix,” Williams cites several studies on the health benefits of Cypress oil, some of which include: reducing stress by 53%,  lowering blood pressure 5 – 7%, fighting atopic skin disease, and reducing asthma symptoms. And– this stuff smells amazing!!

Try Cypress oil in this uplifting Holiday blend (found on Young Living’s page):

  • 6 drops Myrrh

  • 6 drops Aloes (Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood)

  • 4 drops Cypress

  • 1 drop Hyssop

2) Thieves: for getting cozy

There’s nothing quite like a cozy, candle-lit room during the holiday season–especially when essential oils are involved! This blend combines Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus Radiata, and Rosemary for a spicy, rich scent. This is one of Young Living’s most popular blends, and for good reason! It is warm and inviting, making it a great essential oil to create cozy vibes in any room. Additionally, it neutralizes and purifies the air. It also works super well as a cleaner!

Here’s a list of Thieves’ ingredients:

  • Clove Bud oil

  • Lemon peel oil

  • Cinnamon bark oil

  • Eucalyptus leaf oil

  • Rosemary leaf oil

3) Northern Lights Black Spruce: to feel more grounded

If you’re looking for a way to feel centered during the busy holiday season, look no further than Northern Lights Black Spruce! When diffused, it has a woodsy and rejuvenating aroma.  Try diffusing this oil during your morning self-care routine (it’s great for meditation or yoga!). It has a calming effect and its earthy smell will have you feeling one with mother-nature. It’s also super versatile and blends well with a variety of other oils!

Try diffusing it with any of these essential oils:

  • Bergamot

  • Frankincense

  • Cedarwood

  • Lavendar

  • Grapefruit
